Photoshop Symbols just squares

Using Photoshop on Windows 10 and the symbols are appearing as blank squares. Please assist!!! Thank you

If your talking about the Symbol font, then that's a photoshop bug on the windows side.

Until it gets fixed you can use the Window>Glyphs panel to insert the right characters.

Here is the screen shot the symbols have the blank boxes

You can see it in the 4th figure down between the 4 and the 9 its showing (any symbol I choose) as a blank box.

Illustrator has a Symbols panel; Photoshop does not. Can you show a screenshot so we can see what you mean by "symbols" so we can better assist?
