Hi,

So I was cleaning up my computer by de-fragmenting, disk clean up and deleting old files. However, It seems that I deleted all the essential tool presets from my Photoshop CS3, such as the magnetic lasso tool etc...

My question is , from where can I re-download or get the presets again to plug them again in the program?

I know how to plug them but I don't have them, that's my main issue

please help ASAP

If you are talking about custom Tool Presets then you appear to have destroyed them, if you are talking about default Tool Presets then restoring the Preferences, I think, should restore those.

Maybe you should post some screenshots to clarify what you mean.

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Hi there,

well I remember I did Disk cleanup, Disk derangementer and deleted the %temp% files, I'm not sure if I did something else long time ago since I was busy and didn't use my Photoshop for a while.

I mean that when I scroll on the tools, for example the rectangular marquee I don't get the other default original marquee options like the circular one. Even when reseting the presets I get nothing because my Tools file of the preferences is empty.

Why did you crop the screenshot thusly instead of providing a one that shows the whole Toolbar?

Have you reset the Preferences yet?

What happens when you hit M repeatedly, alternately shift-M?
