Photoshop touch gestures stopped working on surface pro 4

I’m ready to throw my computer out of the window. I’ve used ps on my surface for almost 10 years. For some reason touch gestures stopped working and whatever I do they do not come back. Ps recognizes touch everywhere except on the canvas area. Every setting is disabled and enabled, I have even re installed windows, I’ve updated drivers and the ps itself. I’ve tried to use older versions of ps but it does nothing. I’ve tried to uninstall and re install drivers. Everything is enabeled in my settings.

I do not understand why now it stopped working. It has worked for all this time but after I moved and my surface wasn’t in use for a month it just decided to die on me.

Please I beg that someone knows what the actual hell I need to do to get this working.

Hi @OwlVirus , thank you for sharing your sysinfo. It appears your computer does not meet the minimum requirments for Ps: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html

You mention that you have been able to use Ps for the last 10 years, so a suggestion would be to rollback to an older version that works as it did before the update.

You can do this by going to your Creative Cloud app and click on the three dots to the right of Ps and select Other version.

Hi @CShubert. I tried upgrading, but after some testing, it seems the issue still remains. You think download a version before 22.0 would help?

If everything worked for you before the update, maybe just go back ONE version? At this point, it will be a trial and error but if you have been working just fine for 10 years and only recently had this issue, it might be as simple as one version back?

Let us know if that brings things back into working order for you.

Hello, I'm having a similar problem. I own a Surface Pro 5 (2017).
I tried checking GPU and System on Help, but:

- GPU driver hasn't been updated in 22 months (yet Windows Update has no available updates, so even if old the driver should be the latest)
- I've tried going back to an earlier version, but the oldest available is 22.0, on which touch input (and pen sensibility) instead of not working, works intermittently. I've tried it on other software (even Adobe one, like Fresco), and it works correctly, so I suppose it's just a PS problem. There's any way to download an even earlier update (2020 would do fine, since I remember it working fine) or to fix the issuee on the latest version?

You mention that you have been able to use Ps for the last 10 years, so a suggestion would be to rollback to an older version that works as it did before the update.
