Photoshop v21 error for PSD file type

Yesterday I updated Photoshop to V21 and now when I save PSDs they cannot be opened. When opening the file's property it reads Abobe.AfterEffects.psd.15

I'm changing nothing, just a default PSD save using Windows. Is this a known issue and will it be resolved soon? I have all the Adobe CC apps, no known issues with them.

    I just logged in to my PC (Windows 11) for the first time today and all my .PSD files, and any that I download are: "adobe.aftereffects.psd.24"

     

    This was not the case last night when I was working on my machine.  I'm seeing this is an old issue from 2019 and wonder what the solution was?
