Photoshop v22.1
Lasso tool is laggy and slow!!!
PS: Photoshop v21 works perfect with same settings and hardware

MacOS Big sur
MacBook pro

Processor: 6-Core Intel Core i9 2,9 GHz

Memory: 32 GB

GPU: Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB

Maybe 22.2 works better for you? I've had the lag with 22.4.3, updated to 22.5 and it just got MUCH worse. Switched back to 22.2 and I have no more lags.
