Photoshop V26.0 issues

Howdy.,  I am REALLY confused.  Just updated to V26.0 and and LY 14.0 and it's doing some strange things.  the LR 14.0 still shows 13.3 in the banner but that's for a different forum.

Issue with PS v26.0 is that I import from LR and add a signature block (I just have a  separate file with My name and year nothing fancy then drag and drop onto the photo I am editing/saving).   I  resize to 800x1200 to save for easy DLing.   I am unable to save as a JPG using Save As or Save As a Copy.   My only choices are  Photoshop, Photoshop RAW, Open EXR, Large DOcument Format, Portable Bitmapp, Radience, or TIFF.  It doesn't matter if I add the signature or just try to save as JPG after importing to PS.

Odd this is the PSD document I use for signatures still see's JPG as an option when saving as a copy.

Correct answer Per Berntsen

Go to Edit > Preferences > File handling, and check Enable Legacy "Save As".

This should let you save as jpg.

Per,

Thank you for helping out.  Kind of odd that the defaults changed when I DL'd the new version.  I have never used any video settings I am strictly a photography person.  When I scanned the menu's I wasn't looking for "Legacy" I was looking for sRGB/RGB/JPG wording.

Working now, thanks again..people smarter than I am are always appreciated 🙂

Oh yeah also add when I drag and drop the sig file text to the new document I get a document mismatch:

Source Adobe RGB (1998)

Destination:  Linear Rec. 2020

Working: sRGB IEC61966-2.1

Sorry should have been added to original post.  Can't find in the preferences if this can be changed.  My bad

For best results, make sure that the source and destination images have the same profile embedded.

Adobe RGB is fine, but if the image is for screen viewing, sRGB is better.

Instead of saving, you can use Export or Save for web, where there is a check box to convert to sRGB. And always check the box for embedding the profile.

Rec 2020 is a profile for video, and is not designed for still images.

Use a standard profile like sRGB or Adobe RGB.

To convert to a different profile, go to Edit > Convert to profile.
