Photoshop very buggy with masks

OK I've been having this issue for a while at work, and I normally just restart and the issue goes away for a little while but always comes back. I have this same exact problem at home on a different computer. Both of the computers are new macs. I've noticed when I make complicated masks photoshop will just randomly change or cut off part of my mask. If I increase the size of my picture the mask will come back again but eventually I'll have the same issue again and will have to resize my pic again so the mask will be correct. I can't be the only one out here with this issue. It gives my masks random boxes and is annoying as hell. Anyone have a fix. I'm attaching a pic here.

    Can you go to Photoshop Preferences > Performance > Advanced Settings, and uncheck "GPU Compositing" and see if those issues persist? Reopen the file after changing that setting.

    Just did that now Mark thanks. It kind of comes and goes so I may find out if it worked next week since I'm leaving soon. Appreciate the help.

      Can you go to Photoshop Preferences > Performance > Advanced Settings, and uncheck "GPU Compositing" and see if those issues persist? Reopen the file after changing that setting.

        Hi Just getting back to this because the problem still hasn't gone away. I keep getting weird masks popping up. I have one that happened just now attached. I've been getting in the habit of just restarting and I'm good for a bit, but hoping someone can figure this out. Thanks.

        oh, on the mask issue, we are looking into a merge down issue which could have been introduced in 23.3. Maybe flip back to 23.2 for a couple of days; we close to releasing something to resolve that.

          I have a similar issue for last few versions under Catalina 10.15.7  and a Mac late 2015. To fix I will do a Command I to invert, and then once again to get back.

           

          Often I get random multiple smaller repeat versions of the graphic, so not 100% sure we have same issue, but seems like redraw of what the actual data is. Mine also does not come from masks, but just opening a new document. I also sometimes get a black or grey screen, but my cursor going over shows the values changing in info.
