Photoshop very slow

Hello,wonder if anyone can help. My photoshop had become very slow. Is this due to the large amount of work/layers on one piece of work. Are there anyways to speed this up?

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the version of Photoshop you're using along with your computers operating system & configuration? How many layers do you have in the file that you're working on? Do you experience the same issue if you work on new document?
