Question

Photoshop will not allow me to edit the text

I have this issue where on photoshop I am trying to change the text so it says something else and double clicking on it like usual is not working, I thought this might be a simple issue so I restarted it and still not working, so then I added a new text, however after I change it the first time, it doesn't work again after double-clicking, so then I think maybe the project is cursed lol, so I make a new one and I still can't change the text once I make it. Any help is appreciated

Click on Multiplayer smart object layer to select it in the Layers panel.

Display Properties panel using Window > Properties.

In Properties panel click on Edit Content button.

Take screenshot and post it here.

Your text seem to be encapsulated inside Smart Object layer. What is happening when you double click on Smart Object thumbnail to edit content of SO?

You can also select Smart Object layer in the Layers panel then click on Edit Contents button on Window > Properties panel, that should open new tab with SO content. Take that screenshot and post here.

That's a strange one.  Can you show us a screewn shot of your entire workspace with the relevant layer selected in the layers panel?   Thanks.
