Remove the version you are having problem with use the creative cloud desktop application the then reinstall it using creative cloud desktop application . Adobe un installers  for you older versions messed the current version configuration.  In the future if you want to  remove a version of Photoshop delete its Install tree.  Do not use your system or Adobe Creative desktop to un install old Photoshop versions there a good chance the uninstaller will brake the current  Photoshop version install.

Hi

I did all that. I completely un-installed all of them. I even removed the empty folders from the old versions.

I then re-installed and got the same message.

I tried installing an older version and this ran. It then updated and I was back with the same problem.

Searched this and found that it may be my processor is no longer supported (AMD Phenom(tm) 11 X6 1090T 3.2 Ghz) and I can only run the older version of PS.

A new computer is in the budget for next year but even so it is a bit annoying if this is true.

All the other programs in my account run OK but I have to use PS 2020 until I get a new computer?
