Photoshop won't start + Creative Cloud Desktop doesn't work

All of a sudden all my Photoshop versions (version 22/23 will not start. Message:

"Could not complete your request because the file is locked, you do niot have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file. Use the "Properties" command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file".

If I start Brigde a small box appears with only a white cross in red round background, no text. - and Lightroom cannot start either.

The Creative Cloud Desktop shows a message where I normally can the the installed apps: "Something went wrong - if reloading your apps doesn't solve your problem contact support ...".

I've updated my Photoshop versions yesterday (cant remember if I have started them since with success), and the abovementioned errors appears suddenly; I haven't made any changes to any files or anything.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Soren

Hi

Have you tried restarting your computer, are you logged in with an administrator account.

Try using the Adobe Cleaner Tool.
