Photoshop wont launch on Windows computer

Question

I am trying to open the Photoshop app on my HP laptop and nothing comes up. I noticed there is a new update so I went on Creative Cloud to dod so. But a pop up shows on the screen saying I have to save and close my work. Mind you, the last time I used the app was last night and I successfully saved and closed every document on there and nothing on the Photoshop app is open. I can't even uninstall the app to start it over. What should I do?

Sorry that you're unable to use Photoshop on your computer as it does not launch from the Creative Cloud desktop app.

Would you mind using the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool to remove Photoshop from your computer and then reinstall it? See https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
