pigment bleeding through paper effect

Hi everyone!

was wondering if anyone knew any methods to re create the graidents in the examples below digitally. any advice would be appreicated, many thanks!

I would create two layers, one with the base color and the second with a brushed edge - for the various height.

Then convert the top layer to a smart object and duplicate the layer.

On the top most layer, first run Filter>Render>Fibers with the upper color and white.

Change the layer blend mode to multiply.

Next on the top most layer run Smart Filters>Blur>Motion Blur and adjust the blur at 90° til you get the streaks as you like.

Finally, use the Smart Filter mask to blend the streaks with the second layer image:
