Pinch to zoom not registering properly when Surface Pro 3 is charging

I started working with Photoshop on my Pro 3 quite recently. I'd been using the pinch to zoom/move gesture quite frequently whilst it was discharging and upon plugging in the charger all gestures started playing up.

I've looked at a fair amount of previous posts and the common solutions didn't apply. The hardware acceleration tickbox is already checked as well the enable gestures tickbox.

Any other suggestions would be most welcome as my Pro 3 takes quite a few hours to charge to full so having to wait for that isn't ideal. Heavy Photoshop usage also drains it quite fast as you'd imagine.
