Pink/Green strip appears after saving the tiff file

After flattening a TIFF file and saving it I view them in Lightroom for some touchups. Recently when I see the TIFF file in LR many times a pink/green strip appeared across the image. 

 

Please help resolve this. This is becoming a headache because its very tricky to build that area again.

    Just to make sure: The stripes are present if you open the image in Photoshop and view individual Channels?

      That's file corruption, and file corruption is always caused by failing hardware.

       

      Are you saving directly to an external drive or over a network?
