Place multi-page PDF in Photoshop?

Hello, hello!

I have a multi-page PDF layout that I need to place in Photoshop. When I go File >> Place Embedded, I have to add each page and resize individually. I've tried holding down shift to add multiple pages at once, but no luck. Is this a bug? I'm using Photoshop 22.5.1 on Mac 11.5.1.

Also, is there a better way to do this? I have the Adobe suite if there is another program that I can use to expediate this. I'm an children's book illustrator so I'll be doing this frequently.

If you have Adobe InDesign, you can do it easily.

File > Place > Click once on the PDF
Turn on Show Options either with the checkbox or by holding Shift as you click Open
In the Show Options dialog, select All Pages
Click on each page of your InDesign document and Place one page of the PDF on each page of the InDesign document.

Thanks, Jane! It looks like this does work, but I'll need to learn a bit more about InDesign - I can't seem to get the layers/pages from the PDF onto the right pages. I just need to do a quick crash course. Thank you though! Any chance you know if Photoshop imports multi-page PDFs or will I have to do that individually?

Possibly a scripter knows a way to do it in Photoshop.

When you are in InDesign and choose "All Pages" from the Show Options dialog as you are placing, they will all be loaded to your cursor. Are you trying to put them in the same order in InDesign as they were in Acrobat? I typically create a file with as many pages as I need first, then zoom out, then just click, click, click to place each page of the PDF.
