Please fix the resize /constrain proportions with this upgrade.

It is difficult to understand how or why the way in which resizing pasted-in images is supposed to work - please fix it to be more intuitive and less jaggedy - or simply revert to the way it was before as it was not broken and now is. Thank you.

In CC 2019 Photoshop transforms proportionally by default. Holding down the Shift key now resizes non-proportionally when you drag a corner handle during transform.

So hold down the Shift Key to change only the height or the width.

Hi Lisa

Can you check out this thread, and maybe make use of the PSUserConfig.txt file to revert to the old method.

Re: Free Transform Aspect Ratio

JJ is right that it pays to keep an old version so you have time to come to grips with new features when pressure of work allows.  I am not entirely sure why Adobe have decided to change the way Transform handles work.  I understand it is still the same with Shape layers, and I had a frustrating experience using Perspective Crop today, which does seem to use the new system.

When you get a free half hour, check out the What's New page

If you read the update documentation or search this forum you will see yo can revert transform to its old operation.  One of the first things I did to CC 2019.  When Adobe releases a new version of Photoshop keep your old Photoshop version installed,  The are always bugs in new release of Photoshop.

Not to seem ungrateful for you taking the time to respond to my comment, thank you, however, your response is unhelpful. Our agency purchases software for work purposes, not to beta test Adobe products. Working software is not an unreasonable expectation - bug fixes happen but fully disfunctional operations that are performed hundred of times a day across our team is not acceptable as a software release.

We here are user like you.  If you want to use Photoshop IMO you needto keep old version installed. The will always be problem in new release of Photoshop.  If you want to report bugs, give feedback to Adobe make change request use Adobe feedback web site. Photoshop Family Customer Community

User here try and help each other out using Photoshop and dealing with bugs.

Adobe made the change for new users but forced it one old users. Adobe did provide a way to revert to the old operation.   Adobe  need some new management that will treat their customers better.   I do not think Programmers would have made that change on their own.
