Please help! I my PSD file is corrupt!

I have a PSD-file that is corrupt. It was working fine, but I had some trouble closing PS. So I had to force quit. Now, as I am to open the file again, I cannot open the original content, all layers are gone. File data says file is more than 1 GB large (so the original data must stil be in there(?), but as I open it in PS all I get is this mish mash of colours. It also says its only one layer.

Is there somehow I can recover this file? Any ideas and tips is extremely helpful.

Thank you.

I only have two suggestions:

Composite Image:

Opening a Composite (Flattened) document from a Layered PSD File « Julieanne Kost's Blog

Recovery directory:

Photoshop: How do I recover an auto-saved file after a crash? | Photoshop Family Customer Community

Recovering Adobe Photoshop (.psd) Files

P.S. You could try to place the file into InDesign or Illustrator to see if the flattened composite is accessible (if used), however I presume it would have the same result as my first suggestion.

There are many 3rd party commercial tools that claim to be able to recover corrupt PSD files, however I would not pay anything unless there was proof that they could do so for this particular image.

Howdy. Thank you for the feedback. I have looked through the links you added and also tested some of the suggested fixes. Unfortunately none of them has helped me out. I'm starting to think that its a los cause. Dope! Thats some hours and ideas down the drain. Well, if anyone else experience this and have fixed I´d be happy to hear about it.

Thnx.
