Please help me fix this new PS 2020 horrible feature.

In the Tools menu, when I click a tool the alternate tools expand automatically Rather than as before they expand if you click and hold.

For example, when I click my Paint bucket to fill an area, it automatically expand and show me a big square with the gradient bucket, my currently picked paint bucket and 3d material drop tool.

Now my problem with this is that if often select a tool I don't want because I work very fast. It's sooo annoying and I have not found where I can turn this horrible thing off.

Anyone know?

Could you accidentally be right-clicking the Tools?

If you want to work fast you may want to try using the shortcuts for Tool-selection.

yes I know about shortcuts but for some tools like the paint bucket I don't have it, but its besides the point.

No, I don't accidently click on anything. I've been working professionally with Photoshop since 6.0 so I know the program, It's just in 2020 which I recently upgraded to this weird thing is implemented.

But now that you said this, I'm thinking it might be a bug and I have to reinstall.

Still..hoping for a reply of someone who recoginize this problem.

Hi

Not seeing the issue here with Photoshop 21.0.2 on Windows 10, I have it installed on 2 PC's and can't replicate the issue on either, have you tried resetting Photoshop preferences, you may want to backup your settings beforehand
