Please help with Hand tool (space bar)

I am using Windows 7 and I already have the opengl activated, but the space+drag in Photoshop cs6 doesn't work although I have tried almost all of the possible solutions. I have been using this tool a lot, but recently it stopped working. So, what to do????
Please help...

    Please reset the Photoshop preferences to default.

    Hi roulaa,

    Could you please let us know what have you tried so far to troubleshoot the issue?

    I have been using this tool a lot, but recently it stopped working

    Does Photoshop crash when that happens? Do you get an error message?

    When using Adobe Photoshop, holding down space bar doesn’t toggle the hand tool to pan and scroll canvas.

    i tried :

    -restarting the Photoshop.

    -close all the browsers.

    and by the way it doesn't work also in illustrator CS6
