Plug -ins Nik Collection not working on laptop whilst same plugins work fine on desktop

I installed Photoshop on my brand new laptop. I also want to use my plugins that I use on my desktop on my laptop. Desktop and laptop have same version of Photoshop and same Windows. But after putting the Nik Collection in the C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop 2020/plugins (same as on  my desktop) I get his error on opening Photoshop: 'One or more plug-ins are currently not available on your system. For details, see Help > System Info". Too many details there for me. After clicking this message away, I try, stubborn as I am, clicking the plug in and then I get this message: 'Could not complete the Color Efex Pro 4 command because of a problem with the filter module interface'. I get the same message with the other plugins from Nik Collection. Why is this working for my desktop and why aren't the plug-ins working on my laptop? Anyone got any ideas? Thansk in advance!

Hi

Did you actually install the Nik Collection onto the Laptop or just copy the Google folder

Hi Ged,

Thanks for replying!

I copied the folders of Silver Efex Pro, Color Efex Pro from my desktop to my laptop into the plug in folder.

I'm not sure that will work, do you have the install media for the Nik Collection, you may need to run the installer, I know you can copy the Google folder from one version of Photoshop to another on the same PC
