Plug ins not available if I convert to Black and White in ACR

If I convert an image to Black and White with the BW profile and take it into PS none of my plug ins are available--Nik, Topaz. It must be some preference setting but I have no idea what it is. I am on a Mac

I don't mean the new plug ins, I mean the plug ins that are in the filters.

Hi, ACR converts the image into a greyscale one.

Go to Image>Mode, and convert the image back to RGB Color to get access to all the filters.

If the image is in 16bits/channels, some other filters might not be available, the same image/mode menu will help you.
