Are there plugins (or techniques) you can use to take a hyperrealistic AI-generated/upscaled photo and scale it back to look more like RL?

Depends on what you have in mind.

I would lower this overall redish color and as well as variance and saturationwith lightroom and then will use fluidity to minimize size of tyhe exagerated parts of the face like mouth eyes…

could go that way

Nose is still a little too big and long and the freckles to dark to be real but that would be a start to me.
