poly lasso bug in 2020

When making a selection with the polygonal lasso tool in CC 2020, if you click anywhere outside of the work area (i.e. if you hover over any Photoshop menu), your selection will disappear, forcing you to start all over again.

In CC 2019, you can click anywhere in Photoshop and it will add a point in your selection.  If you accidentally click on top of a menu, it will still include that point in your selection, as it should.
