Polygonal Lasso Tool causes photoshop CC 2019 to freeze/crash.

I've have had this problem for over 2 months now, I almost dare not use the lasso tool anymore because of how often I get crashes/freezes with it at this point. I've tried resetting preferences, I've tried reinstalling photoshop, I am on the latest version but nothing changes. It still keeps happening! Its driving me nuts, I've lost so much work over this.
Can someone please offer some help with this.

I have been having the same problem for months now. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, updated drawing mode, changed files, etc. Photoshop crashes EVERY TIME I try to use ANY of the lasso tools. I have sent many crash reports.
This has ruined my ability to use Photoshop on my desktop. I do not have this problem on my laptop so I know there is a compatibility issue somewhere in my desktop. I am attaching my system info in hopes that will help.

Ive just taken the latest update and this is still happening, can i please get some more help on this? it is killing my workflow

You say latest version so I assume it's 20.0.3, see if setting the drawing mode to basic in preferences helps

yes im on 20.0.3, ill see if that changes it and let you know later if that seems to have fixed it.
