Pop up window in camera raw won't go away

See attachment. I'm following a tutorial online in how to get rid of a moire pattern. I get to the point where the guy in the tutorial linked below says select the brush (in camera raw) but as soon as I go to select the brush (hidden under the dashed circle, I guess? not familiar with camera raw), this pop up appears and will not go away, I cannot close photoshop and have to use task manager to shut it down.

So I didn't try the official instructions that were in the official reply to your question but I just had this problem and finally closed out the pop-up window. I actually expanded the window and then pressed escape which closed the window. You may just be able to press escape while the window is open regularly, but I did maximize the window before I pressed and escape and it worked.

Hey @lesliet64987402. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the screenshot & system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

Before troubleshooting, update Camera Raw to the latest version via the Creative Cloud desktop app. Check the update notes here: https://adobe.ly/3uxf1BX

In Photoshop, press & hold the CTRL + ALT key, go to Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw Preferences, and select 'Yes' when prompted to reset Camera Raw preferences.

Let me know if the issue exists.

Thanks! Sameer K
