post 22.2 photoshop upgrades Unusable and lag a ton. slow. Any news?

I'm running a makerspace with maxed I9's and premium cards. I have the same issue on my higher end dell laptop. I wondered if there had been a fix for this problem aside from sticking with 22.2  . Our IT guys are looking for a security conflict, otherwise I have no idea. The lag affects everything from brushes to opening a blank document at 72dpi. Using the older version fixes the issue but can not be a long term solution. Thanks a bunch
