Preset import problem into PS 2024

Hi all,

I'm trying to import a raft of custom Hue and Saturation presets from Photoshop 2022 into PS 2024.  The files are standard .ahu files, residing in the "Presets" folder in the application submenu.  2024 sees the files, but they are grayed out non-responsive when I tell it to import presets.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks.

WV

Glad it sorted itself.

What operating system are you using?

You can always just copy over the presets manually from 2022 to 2024.

Windows

Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop [version]\Presets\Hue and Saturation

Mac

Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Presets/Hue and Saturation

Using macOS Ventura 13.4 on a 2020 iMac 3.6Ghz 10-core i9, with a Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16GB, with 128GB of RAM.

Your idea of simply copying the files over was a good one.  It didn't work though.  The preset files in 2023 disappeared so I had to drop back to 2022 where they were hiding out.  That worked, but I had to reimport them into the Hue/Sat dialogue box individually.  It wouldn't allow group imports for some reason.  I guess If I want to use those presets in 2024 I'm going to have to recreat them from scratch in that version.

WHY ADOBE?

Oh well, I appreciate your attempt to help.  Sorry it took so long to reply, but you know how life intrudes.

All the best,

WV

PS - Inexplicably the presets have appeared and suddenly function in 2024!

I'm confused.  Wonder what I did?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
