PRESET SYNCING ENABLED DUPLICATED BRUSHES?

Im confused with this preset syncing, after enabling it in my brushes I have a folder named BRUSHES FROM which has all my existing brushes which are already in photoshop.  So within this brushes from (computer name) folder which has all my brushes but seems duplicated for they are already in photoshop.  Can someone clarify if this is normal, or do I delete all the brushes outside this folder now?  Also the perfomance of this preset syncing is horrible, massive lags.

Hi there,

We're sorry about the trouble. The folders that you already have outside of the Brushes folder, are you seeing all those in the Brushes folder? Do you have duplicate brushes in there?

If you are trying to delete the duplicate brushes, you may go to Edit > Presets > Preset Manager > Brushes.

Click to select the duplicate, Ctrl + Click to add others to the selection, and then click the Delete button to the right.

For the preset syncing performance issues- You may try resetting the preferences of Photoshop by: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Backup your preferences before resetting by: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#BackupPhotoshoppreferences

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun

Tarun please see the screen shot.  IN my brushes where I have groups or folders I have a folder with my computer name.  Within it, are all my brushes or folders again.

Thanks for your response.

Have you tried to reset the preferences through the steps shared above?
