Preventing tapered ends in new brush using a pen

Hello, when I create a new brush, it has tapered ends on each side. If I increase the spacing and draw with Huion pen, the size jitter control changes to pen pressure, even though I set it to "off". 

How can I prevent the size control to stay "off" when using a pen? Does it happen only with Huion pen and tablet?

I do not see that when I use the mouse.

    Correction! How do I make sure the size jitter control to stay in "off" position while I use the pen?

      In the Tool Options bar for the Brush Tool do you have Override Pressure enabled?

      If so, turn it off and see if that makes a difference.
