Quit Photoshop if running.
Relaunch Photoshop and open the file that you want to print.
Press the Spacebar on your keyboard before you click File > Print. This process resets printer preferences that have been written into the image.

Hi @Carol RH the Canon installer is putting files in the wrong  place on Mac OS.

The correct placement is Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2023/Plugins/PPL

The installer is placing them in Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2023/Plugins/Generator/PPL

Move the plugins to the correct folder and it will work.

@Kevin Stohlmeyer "the Canon installer is putting files in the wrong  place on Mac OS"

Hi Kevin - it seems you are referring here to the installation of not the standard Canon driver or to a Canon printing plug in

I THINK the OP is using the plain Canon driver?

Wonder if that’s right? @Carol RH

Hi @Carol RH, I see you don't have any replies for a few days, sorry about that! Were you able to get printing to work? What exactly happens? If you roll back to the earlier version, does printing work correctly?

Thank you,

I am able to print now, but the problem is when I choose Photoshop manages colors, the choices I have are very limited automatically it goes to sRGB and other limited profiles which are awful choices. I am surprised that Adobe RGB (1998) is not listed among the printing profiles. Otherwise, If I choose printer Manages colors of course I have no choices on the profiles but the result is very similar to to the sRGB used when I choose Photoshop manages colors. Do you have any recommendations on how to add Adobe RGB (1998) to the profiles list? and besides, manipulating the image to fit this printer capability. Thank you again.

You really want to be using Photoshop (Application) Manages Color. What is the printer being used, what profiles for that printer do you have? Show us a screen capture of the Print dialog when set to Photoshop Manages Color. Then Printer Profile dropdown.
