Question

Printing from Ps or Lrc and not getting the good result for calibrated screen and printer profile

Hello,

I am working on a MacBook Pro 16' with the latest OS with a calibrated screen as well as the secondary screen.

Lately I am getting prints from my Epson P900 (with correct profiles) that are not matching the screen - lack of red and brightness.
I have been struggling and wasting a lot of paper and ink and I am thinking now it might be caused by something in the apps.
Can someone please help get me out of this issue?
Thanks

P.S. I am not a beginner 😉

I don't do Mac, but I've seen quite a few cases here in the forum where it was necessary to reinstall the printer driver.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply @D Fosse .

You are right with your unswer and by digging a little deeper it appears that it is the MacOS updates that are overwriting the drivers and are making them obsolete.

So to avoid this I was suggested to install a third party RIP that goes accross these issuees and also facilitates the printing process, where LrC and Ps are giving a basic printing service.
For those who are interested, check Mirage by Dinax and there's a good video exlpaining the issues and the process to overcome it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w38PrvtocIk&t=2004s
