Problem in Photoshop CC with Wacom pen

I recently ran into a problem with Photoshop CC when working with my tablet (a Wacom Bamboo CTL-470): Photoshop doesn't recognize when I remove the pen from the drawing tablet and keeps drawing, following the movement of the pen even if it's not touching the tablet. It stops doing so only after there's some distance between the pen and the tablet. The pressure sensitivity is working fine, it just doesn't recognize when I'm not drawing anymore. I already de- and reinstalled the latest tablet driver and tried playing around with the options of the tablet, but it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone have an idea what else I could do to fix this?
