Problem with Adobe 25.2: Can't open image sequence

Version PTS: 25.2

OS: Mac Monterey 12.6

I can't open sequence image in Photoshop. This must have happened with a recent update. When I try, I get an error box with the message, "Could not complete the Open command because of a program error."
