Problem with new CC photoshop - mirror reflection

Hi,

I really need help. I often use a mirror reflection effects on my product photos, everytime i do it the same way.

I select the object using quick selection tool - W -  on my keyborad, I do it to separate object from background,

than push ctrl+j to duplicate layer and when I make sure that i work only on my copy layer I click  :

Image > Image rotation > flip canvas vertical.

Every time it works ! - the layer witch I work on, was turned.

But after last actualization when I do it all layer are turned , does not matter whitch layer is selected.

I try many way to solve problem, but I can't. I got many photos to do, but I got this problem.

Now I have to open new project with transparent layer, and move there my copy layer with product to vertical flip, then I again move it on my photo.

But  it take more time .

What is wrong?
