Problem with video timeline

I created an animation and I want to give the green cat to stay in one place for few frames. So I just set one keyframe at the start and one at the end with the same position . But when I play it, the green cat went flying all around and only went back the position I set at the last frame. Never face this problem before, I have 10 cats to animate and all of them have these problems.
