Problems changing RGB to CMYK

Hi,
I have a problem changing RGB picture to CMYK and increasing the pixels.
After I exporting the image as a jpeg the new settings are lost and do not save.

What can I do?

Export As is geared towards web use, so CMYK makes no sense there; have you tried saving the jpg (File > Save a Copy).

Edit: »changing RGB picture to CMYK« sounds vague – how did you convert the image and into which CMYK Space?

Are you converting via Edit > Convert to Profile and what is the target CMYK Space?
