Problems in update 25.4

After updating to v 25.4, when opening any .psd file, the program crashes, opening the error report sending window. Even after restarting the problem persisted. I was forced to roll back to v 25.3.1

I will not update until I am informed of the correction of this error.

When this happens a couple of things you can try to resolve right away.

1. If you do get a crash report - make sure you have your email in the form so they can follow up with you.

2. Try resetting your Photoshop preferences manually. Note: Reinstalling does not automatically reset them so you could be installing over bad preference files:
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset-preferences

3. If none of this works, go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.

Stating that you are crashing without any details doesn't allow us to help resolve.

Thank you very much Kevin for the solution. Problem solved.

I needed to reset Photoshop settings to default and then restart.

I am very grateful to the participatory community.

So far, no solution given by the developers. A shame.
