Problems with resizing text boxes in PS CC 2019

Hello,

I have not worked with text boxes for a while but for a new project I have to.

I try to resize a text box (with the text tool to preserve the size of the text) to strech it. When I grab a handle in the middle of the text box boundary the frame stays fixe at the opposit boundary but grows or shrinks on all of the remaining boundaries. Thus I can't for example resize a text box from "portrait" to "landscape". Probably I have only missed a setting that is somewhere hidden in the tools seetings?

Do you hold down Shift while resizing? If I can understand your problem correctly then the only way to replicate is to hold down Shift while reizing.

That's definitely about the right direction.

Hi

Works fine for me with Photoshop CC 2019, have you tried resetting the Type Tool

Could you please post a screenshot taken at View > 100% with the pertinent Panels (Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?
