Program error message with Enhance Details feature

I have the latest Ps, CR and Windows updates. When attempting to use the new Enhance Details feature from CR the program creates the Enhanced.DNG file but will not open it, the program error message appears.

Any suggestions ?

I am using windows 10 home version 1809 16gb Ram AMD A8-7410 APU RADEON R5 GRAPHICS 2.20 MHZ

Was his original question ever answered - I was able to use enhanced details and for some reason I no longer can. I get the same error message. Any help would be most appreciated.

You need the Oct. 2018 update for Windows, and some computers haven't received it yet, like mine.

The error message is here on the Program Errors tab under the Optimise

Performance heading.

I have the 10 October 2018 windows update, at least the windows update

screen says I do.

You need version 1809. Windows Update relies on AI at Microsoft's end to determine if your system can handle 1809. So it may not be installed.

If Windows Update has not yet installed it, then you can do so manually using the Update Assistant
