PS 2019 extremely long save times

Photoshop 2019 experiencing extremely long save times. In general performance is on par with PS 2017 but file saves hang on ANY file size and smart object update for 25-35 seconds vs 2017 at 6 seconds or less. I receive beach balls with every save and do not have the ability to work while saving. Downgrading to PS 2017.

Attempted a number of solves from a new scratch disk, file handling adjustments, performance changes to resetting all preferences to default all resulting in the same issue. Suitcase Fusion is the only plugin. Does anyone know of a fix to PS long save times?

Specs:

Photoshop 2019 20.0.4

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018)

Processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7

32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Radeon Pro 560X 4096 MB

Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

Suitcase Fusion is known to cause problems in Photoshop. Try to disable it.

Other than that, dual graphics is another common problem. However, that will mostly cause crashing, it shouldn't affect save times.

Instead of disabling a part of your font activation workflow. Please contact our Support Team, and let them know what issues you are experiencing. These are sometimes as easy as toggling a few settings to resolve issues.
