PS 2020 with new Windows 10 and SSD, Wacom - drag to resize brush almost ruined

Hello,

 

Just upgraded to PS 2020 and Windows 10, and had a SSD installed (HP Envy).  Using a Wacom tablet, Intuos I think. Used to be able to resize brush wonderfully easily, by dragging.  Now it barely works. Please help.
