Version 23.2.2 is currently unable to work, it goes frozen with any kind of files I open.

So far I can't work and comply with my deadlines; it is going to be very unprofessional saying to my bosses because PS get frozen, they won't me believe.

To go back (revert) to previous versions, use the Adobe Creative Cloud application, next to the product you want to revert, click on... (three little dots) and pick "other versions."

Resetting the preferences does not work. Not using the graphics card also isn't working. I don't know what happened with the latest update, but I can't do anything, it always freezes, even when simply moving a layer. I've tried installing an older version and that also didn't work. Please help!

Try resetting your Photoshop preferences. Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows). You will be prompted to delete the current settings.

This action only affects the items found in the preferences dialog box. Numerous program settings are stored in the Adobe Photoshop Preferences file, including general display options, file-saving options, performance options, cursor options, transparency options, type options, and options for plug‑ins and scratch disks. Brushes (and lots of other setting) are not affected by the above instructions for deleting preferences. You may wish to make a screen capture of the settings in the Preferences dialog to reset them prior to deleting of this file.

I downgraded to 22.5.6 but the issue still persist therefore is something related with the latest Windows update.
