PS 24.5 system requirements for Mac

Will PS 24.5 work on my MacBook Pro that has Processor: 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel For I-5 and 16 GB ? If so will I need to upgrade to Catalina? Thanks.

Actually as of this post, Photoshop 2023 (ps ver 24.x) requires at least macOS Big Sur 11.0 or later.

It would probably be okay since that processors Turbo Boost of up to 3.9GHz would take it over the 2GHz mark.

As far as ram, 16 gb is quite sufficient.

Happy to hear.. Currently still running PS 21.0.2 but feel like I need to bite the bullet and upgrade. Thanks for your help.

Ok thank you. Any idea if my processor is sufficient? Looks like 2GHz is either recommended or required. Mine is 1.4GHz i5 quad core
