Question

PS 25.5.1 won't install and now I cannot revert to 25.5 either

When I tried to install 25.5.1 I got the error messages in the first two attachments.

When I tried to revert back to 25.5 I get the errors in the third attachment, which appear to be the same at the 25.5.1 error message.

I checked my permission levels for the files mention and have attached those.

What needs to be done to correct this?

The 25.5 install finished and PS opened as expected! CC tells me, once again, that I have an update of 25.5.1 but I will ignore it.

Still like to know what is going on here but very happy to have a functioning PS, I was starting to go into withdrawal!

Well now I'm really confused. I've done nothing but this morning I attemped to reinstall 25.5 again and it appears to have worked, but this "adding Remove tool components" has been active for quite some time.

I have not attempted to open PS yet.
