PS 25.9 Generative fill is extremly slow

Hi,

usually generative fill in photoshop used to take about 15 to 30 seconds to generate the images. Now it takes up to ten minutes until the images are shown and can be used (if at all). Sometimes it just stops and nothing happens after the green bar reaches 100%, but it still uses a generative credit.

There is no error message, I've got the latest update installed and I'm running Photoshop on an up to date Macbook pro (iOS Sonoma 14.5).

It doesn't matter if the selection I want to fill is small or big or contains a lot of details or not. I checked my internet connction, restarted Photoshop and my Laptop, but that made no difference. I've got more than 120 Credits in my plan left due to the counter, so this shouldn't be the problem.

Anyone have the same issue or know, how to fix this?
