PS brushes are gone

I opened photoshop and found all of my brushes disappeared.  I had to import some different ones, which was fine - but when I closed PS and reopened it, the brushes were gone again. Any ideas to fix this?

Hey, @tonys50103221. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out. What exact version of Photoshop are you working on? Preferences from Photoshop 2024 are not carried forward into Photoshop (beta).

 

How many brushes did you import before restarting Photoshop? Were the brushes kept in separate groups/families?

 

You can check the Preferences folder for Photoshop to check for Brush.psp preset file & restore the file by following the steps shared here: https://adobe.ly/3KzSoB5
