PS CC 2019 - Clone & Healing Brush Issues

This is rather small but it is distracting for my workflow. Now that PS has been updated, the Clone Stamp Brush and Heal Brush have an issue whereby the solid line destination circle changes to black to white dots spinning in a circle.

In other words, I select either the "S" or "J" key depending on my retouching need and I get a circle indicator on my screen. I then press the "Option" key to get the target icon and I select my reference point that I want to use for the task at hand. I then release the "Option" key and bring the brush to the area that I wish to Clone or Heal. As I start to retouch the specific area, the circle changes from a line to a spinning wheel as I move my pen tool. It's like the "wait" wheel has been activated while I'm moving the cursor to either clone or heal and area.

I'm not very tech literate, so I hope that I explained the issue well enough.

I am running a Mac Pro with the new Mojave 10.14 OS. I am also using a WACOM pen tablet. That said, the issue also happens with the Mac Mouse so I don't believe it is an issue with WACOM.

I have this exact same problem. I also find that the healing brush tool only works part of the time which is why I came across this thread whilst searching for that fix. I don't know if there is any link between them.

Re: Spinning wheel when using brush for masks in Photoshop CC 2019

Found this as help full. You can try it.

Thanks! I didn't see that thread before I posted.

I just went through it, but nothing works for me. Still have Issue.

This was listed as a "known issue" with Mojave / CC2018.

Known issues - Running Photoshop CC on macOS 10.14 Mojave

We all expected CC2019 to resolve this, but apparently not.

I'll be honest - I didn't have it as an issue in CC2018. It just flared up in the CC2019 release.

Same here. Only since 2019 on Mojave.
