I know you have that option when installing a new version but I'm not sure you can do that with every update of a specific version. And, I do use that option when installing a new version.

In fact, I still have PS 2023 (and even PS 2022) on my PC so I can revert to that version.

The issue occured after the latest update of PS 2024 to version 25.6, that wasn't a new install.
