PS CS6 64-bit does not recognize full RAM, sees wrong OS

I am running PS CS6 64-bit on Windows 10 ver. 1803.  Computer has 8GB RAM but only 3GB are available.  Last week 6GB were available.  Although I did not receive the error message I applied the workaround "Error while accessing performance preferences - 'an integer between 96 and 8 is required'" but nothing changed.  The system info in CS6 help indicates that my operating system is Windows NT 6.2 (Windows 8?)  Please help me fix this.  Thanks in advance.

Windows version 6.2 is Windows 8 and all later versions of Windows. Microsoft set it up so old apps can't tell what system they are on.  They also gave a way to get the real system, and current versions use that. The memory issue - caused by an improvement to Windows 10 a few weeks ago - is also fixed in the current version with updates. You are six versions behind.
